Divock Origi named in Liverpool's Champions League squad

Forward Divock Origi is given a place in Liverpool's squad for the Champions League group stages, despite being linked with a move away from Anfield all summer.

Divock Origi has been named in Liverpool's squad for the group stages of the Champions League.

The Belgium international has recently returned to Liverpool after a disappointing loan spell with Wolfsburg, and the attacker has been linked with another move away from Anfield all summer.

However, the 23-year-old eventually remained on Merseyside, a decision which is said to have pleased Jurgen Klopp who was keen to keep the player as an option in his squad.

Klopp has now selected Origi in his group of players for the upcoming fixtures with Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade.

Origi is yet to make an appearance in any of Klopp's 18-man squads for Premier League matches this season.
