Adam Lallana: 'Liverpool can still reach top four'

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana insists that the team can still finish in the Champions League places if they win their five remaining games in the Premier League.

Adam Lallana has insisted that Liverpool can still qualify for next season's Champions League, despite sitting seven points outside of the top four in the Premier League table.

Brendan Rodgers's side were held to a goalless draw by West Bromwich Albion yesterday to lose further ground on the teams above them.

Lallana told the club's website: "We're representing Liverpool Football Club and we go into every game wanting to win. We'll dust ourselves down, go again, go to Hull and try to get three points to hopefully put as much pressure on the teams above us as possible.

"I still feel that if we pick up maximum points from the remaining games, we'll be unlucky not to get into that fourth spot. It's still possible and while it's still possible, we'll keep giving our all.

"It will be a tough game, but we've got to go there and play our game and hopefully we'll get three points. You want to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible."

Liverpool have won just one of their last four matches in the Premier League.
