Russian media report that Anzhi Makhachkala will make a late attempt to sign Jose Bosingwa.

Former Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa could be set to join Anzhi Makhachkala, according to reports.

Ligue 1 side Lille were believed to be in pole position to land the Portuguese full-back, who was released by the Blues after his contract expired.

However, Russian media have reported that Anzhi are preparing a last-minute swoop for the 29-year-old, with his representatives telling Life Sports that he has not yet made a final decision.

Bosingwa joined Chelsea from Porto for £16m in 2008.
