Report: Federico Viviani move from Roma to Leeds United collapses

Viviani move to Leeds collapses?

Roma midfielder Federico Viviani will rejoin Latina on loan after his proposed move to Leeds United collapsed, according to reports.

Leeds owner Massimo Cellino had originally expected the deal to go through after the 22-year-old agreed in principle to join the Championship club.

However, after failing to receive the paperwork they needed to sign off his switch to England, Viviani's agent has reportedly called off the deal.

The Yorkshire Evening Post quotes Cellino as saying: "[Viviani] is not coming. He is a good player, a talented player, but I cannot sign someone like that.

"All last week it was demands about this, demands about that, asking for more and more so eventually I said 'enough'."

Viviani currently has 10 caps for Italy's Under-21s.
