Leeds United are reportedly still in the running to sign Ibai Gomez from Alaves, despite Leicester City's growing interest in the Basque winger.
The Championship side were first linked with a surprise move for the 29-year-old, who has spent the last two-and-a-half years with Alaves, in November.
Leicester have since been tipped to make a move, however, with the wideman seen as a cheap option at around £3.5m.
AS suggests that Leeds remain interested in the Santutxu youth product, however, and an offer can be expected when the transfer window opens for business in two weeks' time.
Alaves are said to be keen to cash in on Gomez, who has also been touted as a target for former club Athletic Bilbao.
