Robin Koch 'agrees personal terms with Leeds United'

Koch 'agrees personal terms with Leeds'

Leeds United have reportedly edged a step closer to winning the race to sign Freiburg defender Robin Koch.

Despite having signed Rodrigo Moreno from Valencia for a club-record fee, head coach Marcelo Bielsa is keen to make more high-profile additions before the beginning of the new Premier League campaign.

Having missed out on former loanee Ben White, attention has seemingly turned to centre-back Koch, who has less than a year remaining on his contract at Freiburg.

According to Football Insider, Leeds have agreed personal terms with the 24-year-old ahead of a potential switch to Elland Road.

The report adds that the Yorkshire outfit are hopeful over being able to sign the former Germany Under-21 international for £12m.

Koch made 32 appearances in the Bundesliga during the most recent campaign.
