Leeds United and Newcastle United shared the points as they played out a hard-fought 0-0 draw at Elland Road on gameweek three of the Premier League season.
The first half was an evenly matched encounter, with Newcastle creating the better chances - including William Osula having a shot blocked on the line - while Leeds looked a constant threat on the attack, especially down the wings through Daniel James and Willy Gnonto, but both sides were still searching for the opener heading into the break.
The second half was a much cagier affair, with Newcastle dominating possession but struggling to break through the stern Leeds defence, while the hosts lacked the quality in the final third to seriously threaten the visitors, leaving the game still deadlocked as the full-time whistle blew.
SPORTS MOLE'S VERDICT
Leeds produced a much more measured display compared to their miserable performance in the 5-0 loss to Arsenal, with the hosts having a strong defence and threatening on the counter attack throughout the evening.
There is still a clear lack of quality in the final third for the hosts, who will be hoping that new signing Noah Okafor - who remained on the bench today - can help improve in the coming weeks.
As for Newcastle, it was a toothless performance from the Magpies, though they were without several first-team players for much of the match due to rotation in the starting team.
Newcastle will be hoping that new record signing Nick Woltemade will help bring the attacking spark into the team, with the Magpies clearly lacking a focal point in the final third in the absence of Alexander Isak.

MAN OF THE MATCH - SEAN LONGSTAFF
Longstaff faced his former side in his first Premier League start for new club Leeds United, and the midfielder produced a solid performance in the middle of the park.
The midfielder made the most tackles (four) and won the most duels (eight) of any player on the pitch, helping to shut down Newcastle's often relentless midfield.
