Warnock bemoans penalty decision

Leeds United manager Neil Warnock was furious that his side weren't awarded a penalty in their defeat at Blackpool.

Angel Martinez scored the winner in Blackpool's 1-0 triumph over Leeds but Warnock felt that his team should have been given a spot kick in the first half after Ross McCormack went down under Stephen Crainey's challenge.

"I thought it was a penalty," said Warnock.

"The ref said 'there was something not quite right' - I don't know what that means.

"It's a booking if he thinks he dives or it's a corner kick if their defender's got a touch, but on the video the defender's got nowhere near the ball - he's just taken Ross down."

Leeds now sit 12th in the Championship with two games left to play.
