Neil Redfearn has said that he is determined to become the next manager of Leeds United.
The 46-year-old impressed Leeds bosses when he guided the team to a 3-0 win at Bristol City on Saturday following the sacking of Simon Grayson.
Chairman Ken Bates and his board are due to discuss contenders for the full-time role this week.
"I'll make it tough for them to rule me out," Redfearn said.
The caretaker boss is likely to be in charge for this Saturday's match with Brighton and Hove Albion.
