Neil Warnock hails "all-star performance"

Leeds United manager Neil Warnock insists that all of his players put in near-flawless performances in the 2-0 win over Blackpool.

Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has lavished praise on his team following their 2-0 victory over Blackpool in the Championship.

The under-fire Whites boss said that it was impossible to name a man of the match after the game as all of his players deserved "nine or 10 out of 10".

He told BBC Sport: "I couldn't pick a star tonight. They were all nine or 10 out of 10.

"We started on the front foot and limited them to just a couple of opportunities, which would have been cruel if they'd gone in. Paddy [Kenny] made a couple of great saves and I couldn't see him being beaten.

"If you brought another manager in I couldn't see him getting more out of those players than you saw tonight."

David Norris and Steven Morison were on target for Leeds to ensure that Paul Ince's first game in charge of Blackpool ended in a defeat.
