Leeds United offer money back to season-ticket holders if playoffs are missed

Leeds United freeze most season-ticket prices for 2015-16 and promise fans a refund of up to 50% if the club fail to make the Championship playoffs next term.

Championship side Leeds United have pledged to refund supporters up to 50% of their season-ticket price if they fail to make at least the playoffs next season.

The Yorkshire club revealed their 2016-17 pricing structure today and have frozen most season-ticket prices for next season as well as introducing the money-back policy.

Leeds said that they will refund 25% of the cost for any season ticket bought before the end of May if they fail to reach the top six, and that figure will rise to 50% if more than 15,000 are sold before the end of July.

Elland Road, which has a capacity just shy of 40,000, has seen an average attendance of around 23,000 this season.

Leeds have finished 14th, 13th, 15th and 15th the last four seasons and currently sit 12th with four matches of the 2015-16 campaign remaining.
