Half-Time Report: Goalless between Charlton Athletic, Leeds United at The Valley

Neither side have been able to find a breakthrough in the first half of the Championship clash between Charlton Athletic and Leeds United at The Valley.

Reza Ghoochannejhad had the chance to put the home side ahead in the early stages after he was played in through the middle by Ricardo Vaz Te, but he put his effort inches past the post.

The Addicks hit the visitors on a counter following a corner and Ademola Lookman raced into the final third, but saw his low strike kept at bay by Marco Silvestri.

Leeds won a free kick on the edge of the area with the chance to test Stephen Henderson, and the keeper kept the scores level as he dived low to his right to keep Alex Mowatt's effort out.

The visitors pressed again and Chris Wood could have put them ahead after collecting a cross from the right, but he could only send his first-time strike over the bar.
