Inter Milan sign Stefan de Vrij from Lazio

Inter Milan have completed the signing of Stefan de Vrij on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Lazio.

The Netherlands international has signed a five-year deal with the Serie A side after four years at the Stadio Olimpico.

Inter boss Luciano Spalletti has splashed almost £70m on arrivals ahead of next season, including Radja Nainggolan and Lautaro Martinez.

De Vrij is the sixth player to join the Milan club this summer, as they look to push on from their fourth-place finish in Serie A last campaign.

Inter scraped Champions League qualification on the last day of the season with a 3-2 victory over Lazio.
