Kilmarnock and St Mirren have played out a 1-1 draw in their Scottish Premier League encounter at Rugby Park.

The result has kept alive Killie's chances of European football as they now sit one point ahead of seventh-placed Aberdeen.

The visitors were ahead at the break when Esmael Goncalves had the pace to burst past the Kilmarnock defence before firing in.

However, the home side got themselves level just a minute after the restart as Kris Boyd smashed in his first goal since rejoining the club.
