Spurs to make £65m bid for Dybala in January?

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly return in January with a fresh £65m bid for Paulo Dybala after failing to sign the forward from Juventus over the summer.

Mauricio Pochettino's side enjoyed a busy transfer window, completing deals for Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon, Giovani Lo Celso and Jack Clarke.

With the English transfer deadline approaching, Spurs reportedly had a £64.4m bid for Dybala accepted by Juventus but were unable to strike an agreement over wages and image rights.

However, according the Daily Star, Pochettino remains a big fan of Dybala and the club will make another attempt to sign the Argentine in January.

Manchester United also came close to securing a move for Dybala, agreeing a transfer fee with the Serie A champions but ultimately pulling out of the deal due to the same complications over wages and image rights.

Doubts over Dybala's future at Juventus remain, with the 25-year-old yet to start a game under new manager Maurizio Sarri this season.
