Juventus deny Didier Drogba interest

Juventus deny that they are keen to sign Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba during this summer's transfer window.

Juventus have denied that they are planning to make a move for Didier Drogba during this summer's transfer window.

The former Chelsea striker is available on a free transfer after announcing that he will leave Turkish side Galatasaray and had been linked with the Serie A champions, as well as a return to Stamford Bridge.

Chief executive officer Beppe Marotta told Sky Sports News: "Drogba is a free agent and we have been offered him. But we have not taken him into consideration."

The 36-year-old is part of the Ivory Coast's squad for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.
