Report: Patrice Evra poised for Manchester United return

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has been linked with a return to Old Trafford.

The 33-year-old left the Red Devils in July to sign for Serie A outfit Juventus, but has only made eight appearances for the Bianconeri amid reports that he is struggling to settle in Turin.

According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Evra's lack of football with Juve has prompted United boss Louis van Gaal to make an enquiry over his availability.

Evra won five Premier League titles and a Champions League during eight years at the English giants.
