After reaching a European final for the second straight season, Roma resume their pursuit of a top-four finish in Serie A when they host Salernitana on Monday.

A resilient display in Leverkusen saw the Giallorossi edge into the Europa League decider, but they have been short of both goals and points in recent league matches; their visitors, meanwhile, are within touching distance of top-flight survival.

With their patched-up squad and heavy workload, Roma are vulnerable to a buoyant Salernitana side - particularly as they lack sufficient firepower up front. The visitors do not tend to travel well, but on current form they are certainly capable of picking up a point at the Olimpico.

Empoli vs. Juventus (Monday, 7.45pm)

After European heartbreak in Seville left Juventus trophyless for another season, the Turin giants must dust themselves off and travel to Tuscany, where they face Empoli on Monday evening.

Juve still have a probable points penalty hanging over their heads and are yet to secure a top-four Serie A finish, while their hosts have edged closer to safety after taking seven points from the last nine available.

As Empoli have scored at a rate below one-goal-per-game this season, Juventus can capitalise on their hosts' blunt attack and post another trademark low-scoring win. They may be injury-hit and suffering from the latest setback of a trying campaign, but Juve still boast sufficient firepower to get the job done.
