How Juventus could line up against Parma

Sports Mole looks at how Juventus could line up in Sunday's Serie A clash with Parma.

Juventus will be looking for their 16th Serie A victory of the campaign when they host Parma this weekend.

The Old Lady reclaimed first spot from Inter Milan in the table last Sunday courtesy of a 2-1 victory against Roma.

Maurizio Sarri's side also thumped Udinese 4-0 in the Coppa Italia during the week but will now switch their attention back to the league.

Parma have not beaten the Turin giants away from home in the league since January 2011, although they did pick up a 3-3 draw in the corresponding match during the 2018-19 campaign.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the hosts could line up on Sunday night.

POSS JUVE XI vs. PAR

Out: Rodrigo Bentancur (suspension), Giorgio Chiellini (knee), Sami Khedira (knee), Merih Demiral (knee), Mattia De Sciglio (abductor)
Doubtful: Cristiano Ronaldo (illness)

Juve will again be without the services of midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur through suspension, while Giorgio Chiellini, Sami Khedira, Merih Demiral and Mattia De Sciglio are all unavailable through injury.

There have also been suggestions that Cristiano Ronaldo could miss out through illness, but the indications are that the Portugal international will recover in time for Sunday night's clash.

Juan Cuadrado, Aaron Ramsey, Blaise Matuidi, Miralem Pjanic and Leonardo Bonucci are all expected back in the side having been left out of the starting XI against Udinese in the Coppa Italia.

Paulo Dybala scored twice in the mid-week fixture but Gonzalo Higuain, who also netted against Luca Gotti's team, is being tipped to keep his spot in the final third of the field.

Wojciech Szczesny, meanwhile, should return between the sticks at the expense of Gianluigi Buffon.
