Pablo Osvaldo: 'Carlos Tevez is easy to play alongside'

Pablo Osvaldo has praised fellow striker Carlos Tevez after the two linked up to help Juventus beat Trabzonspor 2-0 in the Europa League this evening.

The on-loan Southampton striker scored after just 16 minutes on his first start for Juve, and admitted that he hopes to continue his form and secure a World Cup place.

He also had lots of praise for his new Argentine teammate.

"Tevez makes it so easy to play alongside him," Osvaldo told Sky Sport Italia. "He's a phenomenon and any player would find it simpler playing with him.

"Honestly I feel very comfortable here, with both Tevez and the rest of the team. I'm happy, right away I adapted pretty well here.

"I plan to work hard to go to the World Cup, I will give my all. It doesn't just depend on me but I hope I can do it."

Paul Pogba scored the other goal in Juventus's first-leg win.
