Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has admitted that he is desperate to win the Champions League.
The European trophy is the only major piece of silverware to have eluded the 35-year-old, and he insists that he is more motivated than ever to win after his club's group-stage exit this season.
"I dream about winning the Champions League and have been doing so for ages. I was dreaming about it as a kid and during my 17 years as a professional. It's my main goal and I hope that I can fulfil my dream," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.
"We already have a team that can do a good job in Europe. We are competitive and we could do well in the Champions League, but teams like Bayern, Madrid and Barcelona have a few more stars.
"We showed this year that we have the potential to do well, but we have to focus on other things again now."
Juventus will compete in the Europa League in the New Year and have been drawn against Trabzonspor in the last 32.
