Christophe Berra: 'Ipswich Town didn't do enough against Norwich City'

Ipswich Town centre-back Christophe Berra admits that the Blues didn't "have enough" to beat Norwich City in Sunday's 97th East Anglian derby.

Christophe Berra has conceded that Ipswich Town didn't do enough to deserve anything out of this afternoon's East Anglian derby against Norwich City in the Championship.

The Blues lost four games in a row against their arch rivals for the first time in their history by going down 2-0 at Carrow Road, with goals either side of half time from Bradley Johnson and Lewis Grabban the difference.

"We didn't really have enough on the day today," Berra told the Blues' website. "Whether it's a derby or not, it's still three points up for grabs that we haven't been able to take today and that's bitterly disappointed.

"The lads are all disappointed in the dressing room and we're disappointed for the fans as well.

"These games are the biggest of the season for them and unfortunately we've not been able to get them the bragging rights."

Three points for Norwich saw them climb above Ipswich and up to third in the table with 12 games of the season to go.
