Internacional announce Diego Forlan signing

Internacional have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan from Inter Milan.

It was revealed on Friday that Forlan was close to agreeing terms with an unknown Brazilian club, and it is understood that he has now signed a three-year deal with the South American outfit.

The 33-year-old is currently still in Milan, according to reports in Italy, but he will fly into Porto Alegre on Saturday to tie up any loose ends.

Forlan has also represented Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal.
