Andrea Stramaccioni to keep Inter job

Stramaccioni to keep Inter job

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has revealed that interim boss Andrea Stramaccioni will remain in charge of the club next season.

The 36-year-old was appointed temporary coach following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri in late March.

The likes of Laurent Blanc and Andre Villas-Boas had been linked with taking over at the San Siro in the summer.

However, following yesterday's 4-2 win over city rivals AC Milan, Moratti has confirmed that Stramaccioni is the man to take the club forward.

"I will confirm Stramaccioni as the new permanent coach. He has proved his class and experience in a derby that really excited me," Moratti told Sky Sport Italia.

Inter have won five out of eight Serie A matches under Stramaccioni's stewardship.
