Inter Milan chief plays down Fabio Capello talk

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has played down talk linking Fabio Capello with the San Siro.

The 65-year-old is currently out of work following his resignation from the England job on Wednesday.

"Rumours about a possible change of coach, now or at the end of the season, are totally groundless," Moratti told Inter's official website.

"The rumour about Capello taking over at Inter is also groundless."

Inter, who are fifth in Serie A, host Novara on Sunday.
