Saturday's MLS predictions including New York City vs. Inter Miami

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's MLS fixtures, including New York City vs. Inter Miami.

Minnesota Utd vs. LA Galaxy (Saturday, 11.00pm)

Los Angeles Galaxy travel to the Allianz Field on Saturday to face Minnesota United in the Western Conference of the MLS, with both teams currently in the final series playoff positions.

Minnesota sit six points behind LA Galaxy, who are third on 32 points, but the Loons have one game in hand on Greg Vanney's side.

We say: Minnesota United 2-1 Los Angeles Galaxy

Minnesota are in good form in front of goal having netted twice in each of their last four games and that is likely to continue this Saturday, with LA Galaxy's defence shipping 28 goals already this campaign.

Both sides will be looking to cement their place in the playoff spots as the league edges closer to the halfway stage, but Minnesota could use their good home form - winning six of the nine games they have played at the Allianz Field - to their advantage.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

NY City vs. Inter Miami (Sunday, 1.00am)

Phil Neville's Inter Miami travel to New York City FC on Sunday in the Eastern Conference of the MLS, with the home side keen to close the 12-point gap between themselves and New England Revolution at the summit.

New York City have two games in hand on the Eastern leaders, but they must also be wary of dropping out of the playoff positions as Montreal are only five points behind in eighth.

We say: New York City FC 1-1 Inter Miami

Neville will be determined for his side to continue their unbeaten run and three points could take the side up to ninth in the table, showing how tight it still is between each team.

However, New York City are going to pose a big challenge for Inter Miami and this game could end in a draw if form is anything to go by.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Toronto vs. New England (Sunday, 1.00am)

First meets worst at BMO Field on Saturday when Toronto host the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer action.

The Supporters' Shield leaders scored two first-half goals last weekend to edge the Philadelphia Union 2-1, while the Reds came back to draw New York City FC 2-2.

We say: Toronto 2-2 New England Revolution

Toronto are unbeaten at home and are playing much closer to their capabilities, but they have left goalkeeper Alex Bono hanging out to dry on several occasions lately and have rarely been able to shut down teams who are far less potent than the Revs.

There is no denying that New England are probably the most talented offensive unit in MLS at the moment, but they have yet to prove that they can keep the ball out of their own goal consistently.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Montreal vs. NY Red Bulls (Sunday, 1.00am)

Two struggling teams in the Eastern Conference will look to end their lengthy winless runs on Saturday when CF Montreal host the New York Red Bulls at Saputo Stadium.

The Canadian side dropped a 2-1 decision last Sunday to DC United, their fifth successive match without a win, while the Red Bulls fell by the same score to the Chicago Fire, extending their winless streak to six games.

We say: CF Montreal 2-0 New York Red Bulls

Montreal may not be in the best form at the moment, but they have managed to keep their last five matches close, while also being more clinical in front of goal, even though they have failed to win any of those games.

The Red Bulls look exhausted physically and mentally and have not found the back of the net in three road matches this season.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Dallas vs. Kansas (Sunday, 1.30am)

Dallas are looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games when they host Sporting Kansas City at Toyota Stadium on Saturday.

The Toros scored two second-half goals last week to defeat Austin FC 2-0, while the Wizards were eliminated from the Leagues Cup this week, losing 6-1 to Leon in the quarter-finals.

We say: Dallas 1-1 Sporting Kansas City

Dallas seem to be finally coming into form and have not been intimidated despite playing some superior sides lately, and Luchi Gonzalez has never lost to Peter Vermes in his managerial career with the Toros, going 5-0-1.

Kansas City were embarrassed at the Leagues Cup this week, but this team are resilient and always seem to bounce back, plus a lot of their attacking threats got to rest in midweek, so they should be refreshed and eager to remain on top of the Western Conference table.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Houston vs. Colorado (Sunday, 1.30am)

The Houston Dynamo are trying to end a lengthy winless drought when they host the Colorado Rapids on Saturday at BBVA Compass Stadium.

In their last fixture, Orange Crush dropped a 2-0 decision to Minnesota United, while the Rapids played to a 0-0 draw with Sporting Kansas City.

We say: Houston Dynamo 1-1 Colorado Rapids

The Dynamo rarely create many scoring opportunities throughout a game, but they can usually convert at least one of their shots on target into a goal.

Colorado are one of the most formidable defensive units in the league at the moment, but they do not score as many goals on the road as they do at home.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Salt Lake vs. Austin (Sunday, 3.00am)

Real Salt Lake are hoping to climb back into a playoff position in the Western Conference when they host Austin FC on Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Salt Lake are winless in their previous three fixtures, losing their last two, while the Verde-and-Black conceded two second-half goals to fall 2-0 to Dallas.

We say: Real Salt Lake 2-0 Austin FC

Salt Lake have been very convincing at home lately, scoring five goals in their last two games while creating plenty of scoring opportunities.
