Hull City and Cardiff City clashed at the KC Stadium today in the first meeting between two promoted clubs in the Premier League this season.
The pair left with a point apiece after Peter Whittingham's volley cancelled out Curtis Davies's first goal for Hull.
Read how it all unfolded on Humberside in our minute-by-minute updates below.
5.05pmThanks for joining Sports Mole for coverage this afternoon. I now recommend you head over to join Jack Prescott for updates on the mouthwatering evening kickoff between Everton and Chelsea. Here's the link you need. Enjoy!

4.59pmFULL-TIME SCORES! The other 3pm results in the top flight: Villa 1-2 Newcastle, Fulham 1-1 West Brom, Stoke 0-0 Man City, Sunderland 1-3 Arsenal, Spurs 2-0 Norwich.
4.57pmBoth sides climb the table with a point this afternoon. Cardiff up to ninth, Hull 14th. Latest table.
4.55pmIt finishes all square then between last season's two automatically-promoted sides, with Curtis Davies and Peter Whittingham the scorers.
90+6 minFULL TIME: HULL 1-1 CARDIFF
90+4 minKoren looks to feed Graham with a through-ball but overhits it and Lewis collects.
90+3 minCHANCE! Perhaps the stalest striker in the Premier League, is Mr Graham. He's just had a chance to become a Hull hero but sends a powerful header straight at Lewis. Either side and that was a certain goal.
90+2 minWhittingham goes for goal from the resulting free kick but it's a tame effort that McGregor clutches to his belly.
90+1 minYELLOW! Davies puts a slight blemish on his goalscoring performance by picking up a late booking.
90+1 minFOUR minutes of time added on at the end of the match. Today's attendance at the KC is 21,949, by the way.
90 minCARDIFF SUB: Third and final change from Mackay as Jordan Mutch takes the place of Cowie.
89 minAluko squeezes through a pass for Koren but it's just behind the number 10 and Cardiff survive. Just a few minutes left now.
88 minStraight at the wall from Huddlestone. The ball comes back to the former Spurs man whose half-volley deflects out for a corner.
87 minFree kick for Hull right on the edge of the area as Aluko is clearly brought down by Theophile. Big chance. Huddlestone and Koren interested...
83 minQuinn pulls off a fantastic cross with the ball bouncing high on the byline but there's a lack of commitment from Hull in the middle. My pre-match prediction of 1-1 looking good!
79 minDISALLOWED! Aluko puts the ball in at the back post from Quinn's fine cross but is rightly flagged offside. Into the final 10 minutes we go.
77 minCHANCE! Huddlestone prods it forward to Graham who bundles the ball onto his left foot before bobbling an equally scruffy shot wide.
75 minBreak in play as Cowie lands awkwardly in the area. Cardiff wanted a penalty but the number 13 had overran the ball and was never getting to it.
74 minIMAGE! Cardiff now looking far stronger, here's Whittingham running away in celebration after equalising:

71 minGunnarsson certainly likes a shot but hasn't quite got his accuracy boots on today as he lets fly from 20 yards and blazes it miles over.
4.26pmUPDATE! Goals at Villa and Sunderland as Christian Benteke draws the former level against Newcastle, while Aaron Ramsey has brilliantly volleyed Arsenal back in front in the North East.
67 minHULL SUB: Bruce responds with his first change, bringing on Stephen Quinn for Brady.
65 minCARDIFF SUB: A second change from Mackay as Campbell is taken off for Gestede, with Odemwingie remaining on the Bluebirds' bench.
62 minCHANCE! So close to two goals in three minutes as Theophile beats his man skilfully before crossing for Gunnarsson who contrives to miss the target with his unmarked header from eight yards or so.
59 minCracking goal, this. It's a swift, free-flowing move as Campbell flicks it round the corner for Cowie whose first-time cross is perfect for Whittingham at the back post, who volleys home from six yards.
59 minGOAL! HULL 1-1 CARDIFF (WHITTINGHAM)
55 minBLOCK! Huddlestone pulls the resulting free kick back for Koren and the Hull midfielder side-foots it powerfully towards the bottom corner. Surely it would have gone in had a Cardiff defender not stuck out a foot to block it on the six-yard line.
54 minYELLOW! Harsh call from Madley as he books Turner for bringing down Aluko even though both men seemed to trip over each other.
51 minLittle to speak of at the start of the second half until just now when a Cardiff free kick was half-cleared to Gunnarsson whose vicious strike was blocked.
48 minUPDATE! Early goals in the second half elsewhere as Sunderland equalise against Arsenal thanks to Craig Gardner's penalty and Spurs go two up on Norwich, with Sigurdsson netting his second.
46 minKICKOFF! The second 45 is underway in Humberside. Can Cardiff get back into the match?
4.01pmHearing that Mackay will make a half-time change, with Nicky Maynard coming on for Kim.
3.58pmLooking at the stats from that first half, it was actually Cardiff who had more possession (56%) but Hull had plenty more shots with nine to the visitors' three.
3.55pmIMAGE! Here's Davies celebrating the one and only goal with Elmohamady:

3.51pmUPDATE! Here are the half-time scores in the other five 3pm kickoffs in the top flight: Aston Villa 0-1 Newcastle, Fulham 1-0 West Brom, Spurs 1-0 Norwich, Stoke 0-0 Man City, Sunderland 0-1 Arsenal.
3.49pmCardiff can only blame themselves though as it was sluggish marking that allowed Davies to score the only goal of the game in the 40th minute.
3.48pmIt's Hull who lead at the KC then and you would probably say that they've just edged the first 45.
45+3 minHALF-TIME: HULL 1-0 CARDIFF
45+1 minTWO minutes of time added on at the end of the first half.
44 minBrady stays down after a boot to the face but Hull play on and almost double their lead as Aluko shimmies right, then left before seeing his shot blocked.
40 minDenied moments ago, Hull take the lead through Curtis Davies. The tall defender stooped low to meet Huddlestone's cross that had been allowed to bounce after some hesitant defending from the visitors.
40 minGOAL! HULL 1-0 CARDIFF (DAVIES)
39 minSTRONG HAND! Lewis makes his first meaningful save as Huddlestone is given space from 20 yards and drills low to the near post, with Lewis making a fine save.
36 minAluko, unusually, uses his right peg to let fly from distance. It's struck well enough but easy for Lewis to watch past his near post.
33 minAluko just keeps it in on the byline by cutting it back to Graham who, with his back to goal, lays it off for Elmohamady. He takes a shot but is quickly closed down by a blue shirt.
30 minClose call for Hull as Whittingham lines up a trademark piledriver but instead reverses it into Medel, who had ventured into an unusually forward position but couldn't get it under control with just McGregor to beat.
3.28pmUPDATE! Gylfi Sigurdsson gives Spurs the lead at home to Norwich.
26 minAluko sprints forward up the left before working a yard of space with a quick step-over and lashing into the side-netting from a tight angle.
25 minCampbell needs to calm down here. He's already been booked and just went in quite late on Livermore. Madley takes the safe option by not issuing another yellow for the Bluebirds' top scorer.
3.24pmUPDATE! Steve Sidwell gives Fulham the lead against West Brom.
22 minA cross from the Hull right causes confusion in the Cardiff area as Lewis just about clears it with an orange and blue shirt just in front of him.
3.19pmUPDATE! Newcastle take the lead against Aston Villa through Hatem Ben Arfa.
19 minYELLOW! First booking of the game goes to Campbell for an angry challenge from behind on Huddlestone.
16 minKim wants a penalty as he goes down in the Hull box. It's rightly waved away by Madley who really should have booked the number 13 for diving.
3.12pmUPDATE! First goal of the day in the top flight comes at the Stadium of Light as Mesut Ozil makes an immediate impact for Arsenal by setting up Olivier Giroud. Sunderland 0-1 Arsenal.
10 minThat Graham opening the stand-out opportunity of the first 10 minutes, which has been end-to-end.
6 minCHANCE! Danny Graham hasn't begun his time with Hull brilliantly and he's just missed a sitter to give the Tigers the lead. It was a free-flowing move from the home side that saw Aluko try his luck from the edge of the box. Lewis made the save but parried it straight to Graham who side-footed over from about 10 yards.
5 minFirst shot of the game comes from Gunnarsson as Kim prods the ball back for the rugged midfielder, whose low shot from 20 yards is blocked before reaching the goal.
4 minKoren loves to break forward from midfield but doesn't show off his best passing skills as he passes to absolutely no-one on the right.
1 minEarly break in play as Gunnarsson stays down after a clash of knees in the centre of the park. Looks like the visitors' number 17 should be OK to continue.
0 minKICKOFF! We're underway at the KC as Hull kick off.

2.55pmThe two sides come out of the tunnel at the KC, which is half sun-soaked. Hull in their orange and black home colours while Cardiff don their now-away colours of blue.
2.52pmOne man who will feel plenty of pressure today is Cardiff keeper Joe Lewis, making his Premier League debut in place of David Marshall.
2.50pmPREDICTION TIME! Just 10 minutes until the off in Humberside so it's time for my pre-match prediction. I'm going to be boring and say a low-scoring draw. Either 0-0 or 1-1.
2.47pmThe last meeting between these two was also at the KC in May and what a memorable affair it was. Hull were ultimately promoted but it was far from easy as they Cardiff scored with virtually the last kick before Hull's promotion was confirmed as Watford failed to beat Leeds. More here.
2.44pmREFEREE WATCH: The man in charge today is Robert Madley.
2.41pmSUBS! And here are the two benches at the KC this afternoon:
Hull: Jakupovic, McShane, Bruce, Rosenior, Meyler, Boyd, Quinn
Cardiff: Moore; Hudson, Odemwingie, Gestede, Noone, Mutch, Maynard
Hull: Jakupovic, McShane, Bruce, Rosenior, Meyler, Boyd, Quinn
Cardiff: Moore; Hudson, Odemwingie, Gestede, Noone, Mutch, Maynard
2.38pmIt's an unchanged lineup for Hull, who performed admirably last time out at Manchester City, while Cardiff make three changes to the side that drew with Everton, with Lewis, Theophile and Cowie in for Marshall, Connolly and Bellamy.
2.35pmCARDIFF XI: Lewis, Taylor, Caulker, Theophile, Turner, Gunnarsson, Medel, Cowie, Bo-Kyung, Whittingham, Campbell
2.33pmHULL XI: McGregor, Figueroa, Chester, Davies, Elmohamady, Huddlestone, Koren, Livermore, Brady, Aluko, Graham
2.31pmAfternoon folks! Just half an hour separates us from today's match at the KC Stadium between the two automatically-promoted sides from the Championship last year - Hull City and Cardiff City. Team news coming right up...
