Huddersfield Town loan Murray Wallace to Scunthorpe United

League One side Scunthorpe United have signed defender Murray Wallace on loan from Huddersfield Town.

The 22-year-old Scot will be with the Iron for one month until Saturday, September 26.

Huddersfield boss Chris Powell told the club website: "Murray can count himself a little unlucky to have found himself out of our side after a good pre-season. "I could be selfish and keep Murray in the building but at his age and stage of his development, I believe it is the best thing for Murray and the club if he goes out and plays regular football at a good level."

Wallace, who made 26 Championship appearances for Huddersfield last season, could make his debut against Colchester United on Saturday.
