Chris Powell has insisted that Huddersfield Town "deserved more than a point" from their match against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship.
The Terriers conceded just 16 seconds into the tie, but dominated the second half to secure a 1-1 draw with Chris Hughton's side, who had come into the match with the only 100% record remaining in the Championship.
The manager said at his post-match press conference: "A tough first half, but we showed spirit at the interval and deserved more than a point. We needed to stretch the game in the second half and the strikers did. The full-backs got forward and we gave them no space.
"If we'd had a better start, we would be talking about a first win of the season. We can't give the opposition a start. We played into Brighton's hands in the first half and Joe Murphy made a key save. We needed half time to come."
Huddersfield are yet to win in the Championship this season, drawing twice and suffering one defeat in their first three outings.
