Half-Time Report: Gary Taylor-Fletcher gives Leicester City the lead

Leicester City hold a 1-0 half-time lead over Huddersfield Town in the Championship, thanks to a goal from Gary Taylor-Fletcher.

Leicester City hold a 1-0 half-time lead over Huddersfield Town in the Championship this afternoon, thanks to a goal from Gary Taylor-Fletcher.

Andy King almost put Leicester into the lead after only a couple of minutes when he sent a header towards the top corner, forcing Alex Smithies into a smart stop.

Matthew James sent in an inch-perfect ball for Chris Woods after 15 minutes, but the striker couldn't get his headed effort on target as Smithies watched the ball fly over the bar.

After a dominant first-half display, the hosts took the lead in the 31st minute when Taylor-Fletcher got hold of Lloyd Dyer's pass to fire into the bottom corner.

Sean Scannell looked to bring Town back into the game before the break, but his shot was blocked on its way to goal after the striker produced some good work inside the right channel.
