Isaiah Osbourne makes Hibernian switch

Former Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne has signed a two-year deal with SPL side Hibernian.

The 23-year-old was released by Villa over the summer following loan spells with Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday.

"Everything about the move to Hibernian felt right - I'm joining an ambitious club with everything in place for the team to succeed," he told Hibs' official website.

"There were other options that I looked at back down in England, but I wanted a fresh challenge and Hibernian met all my requirements."

Hibernian, currently sixth in the SPL, play their next match away at Kilmarnock on Sunday.
