John Paintsil has said that he wants to sign for a Premier League club ahead of next season.
The Ghana international spent last season with Hapoel Tel Aviv, helping the club to third in the Israeli Premier League.
"I had a great season in Israel with my team, but I would love to return to the Premier League if there is an opportunity," Sky Sports News quotes the 31-year-old as saying.
"I enjoyed my time there. Fulham was a great club for me. There are some contacts, but nothing concrete yet."
Paintsil previously had spells in England with West Ham United, Fulham and Leicester City.
