Karim Yoda joins Getafe

Karim Yoda has joined Getafe from Romanian side Astra Giurgiu on a two-year contract.

The 25-year-old, who has spent the majority of his professional career in Switzerland, was available on a free transfer after running down his contract with Astra this summer.

A clutch of La Liga clubs had been linked with a move, but the capital outfit have moved to sign the French midfielder ahead of the 2014-15 campaign.

Yoda becomes the Spanish club's third signing of the summer, following the captures of Jona and Fredy Hinestroza.
