Getafe linked with Javi Manquillo loan

Getafe are reportedly one of a number of clubs interested in taking Atletico Madrid right-back Javi Manquillo on loan for the 2014-15 campaign.

The Spanish youth is highly-rated at the Vicente Calderon, but it is understood that head coach Diego Simeone wants the 20-year-old to continue his development away from the club.

A number of sides have been linked with a move, but according to AS the favoured destination of the player and indeed Atletico is Getafe due to their location.

Manquillo, who has a contract with Atletico until 2018, made seven first-team appearances for the Primera Division champions last season.
