Saturday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Bologna

Genoa vs. Torino (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Although Genoa are two places behind Torino in the Serie A table, the home side are in superior form heading into Saturday's round 15 clash at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Patrick Vieira's men secured a first victory under the Frenchman at Udinese and aim for consecutive triumphs against their Turin opponents, whose last win came in late October against Como.

We say: Genoa 2-1 Torino

Despite Genoa's winless run at the Luigi Ferraris, the Liguria outfit are playing Torino at a favourable time, given the Bull's wretched results. Thus, we expect Vieira's men to secure a close margin of victory at the Maroons' expense.

Juventus vs. Bologna (Saturday, 5.00pm)

After yet another draw last weekend, Juventus fell further off the pace in Serie A's title race, so they will seek maximum points from Saturday's clash with Bologna.

While Juve were denied victory in stoppage time by lowly Lecce, their revived visitors have won in both league and cup over the past week, scoring seven goals without reply.

We say: Juventus 1-0 Bologna

Bologna have won three of their first seven away games this season, but stubborn Juventus are one of a trio of teams still unbeaten across Europe's top five leagues.

It should be a close-fought contest in Turin, with Thiago Motta just finding a way to defeat his old club and end Juve's wait for a win.

Roma vs. Lecce (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Hoping to finally turn a corner, crisis club Roma will welcome Serie A strugglers Lecce to Stadio Olimpico on Saturday evening.

The Giallorossi have lost six of their last seven league games - including all their last four - while Lecce have enjoyed a new-manager bounce since the last international break.

We say: Roma 1-0 Lecce

It is surely now or never for a plummeting Roma side, who simply must win at home to their southern rivals.

As Lecce have only scored twice in the first half all season, the hosts can get the job done if they secure a lead that takes some weight off their shoulders.
