Report: Fulham enter race to sign Real Madrid's Theo Hernandez

Real Madrid full-back Theo Hernandez is reportedly a loan target for Premier League new boys Fulham.

Fulham will rival La Liga club Real Sociedad for the loan signing of Real Madrid full-back Theo Hernandez, according to a report.

Despite featuring 23 times for Los Blancos in all competitions last season, Hernandez is said to be surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu.

Madrid wanted to offload the 20-year-old permanently, but Spanish outlet Marca claims that Fulham will try their luck with a loan offer of around £1.7m, on top of paying the player's wages.

Fulham's bid is understood to trump Sociedad's, but the White and Blues are still considered the frontrunners to sign Hernandez.

The report also suggests that as many as six others are weighing up an offer for the France Under-20s international.
