Mitrovic heading to China in £50m deal?

Fulham are reportedly set to lose striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande following their relegation from the Premier League.

The Cottagers' demotion after just one season back in the big time was confirmed earlier this week with a 4-1 defeat at Watford.

A number of players are expected to be moved on by Fulham to help balance the books, but Mitrovic is one of those they would ideally keep hold of.

Having hit double figures in the Premier League this season, though, the Serbia international has attracted interest from a handful of clubs, Evergrande supposedly among them.

According to The Express, Fabio Cannavaro's side lead the race to sign the 24-year-old and they are willing to offer him wages of £300,000 a week.

Evergrande, runners-up in last season's Chinese Super League, will pay Fulham £50m - double the amount they handed over to Newcastle United to sign him last summer.
