Fulham have reportedly seen two bids for Costa Rica international Giancarlo Gonzalez rejected by Columbus Crew.
The defender was regarded by many as one of the best players at the World Cup, as he helped his country to reach the quarter-finals for the first time.
According to Sky Sports News, the Cottagers have made an offer in the region of €3.5m (£2m), which has been turned down by his club.
Gonzalez, who has won 40 caps for Costa Rica, joined Columbus Crew in February from Valerenga.
