Fulham decide to exercise their options to extend the deals of three first-team players, including Wales international Harry Wilson.

Fulham have exercised their options to extend the contracts of Harry Wilson, Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez.

The trio were all set to run out of contract at the end of the current season, raising doubts about whether they would continue with the club.

However, Traore, Wilson and Jimenez all had options for Fulham to extend their respective deals by a further 12 months.

The Cottagers have now announced that they have decided to take up those options so that the trio are now under contract until the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

Khan expresses delight at contract extensions

Vice-chairman Tony Khan told the club's official website: "I'm excited to announce that we have activated the club's option to extend the contracts of Harry Wilson, Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez through to the end of next season.

"Harry has been a huge part of the success we've enjoyed under Marco Silva, scoring some vitally important goals, and it's great to see him back.

"Adama and Raul both joined in the summer of 2023, and their significant contributions have shown exactly why we wanted to bring them to the football club.

"I'm delighted that all three will be at Fulham for 2025/26, as we look to enjoy another successful Premier League campaign."

How have the trio fared this season?

Wilson has scored five goals and contributed two assists in 23 Premier League appearances this season, although he has recently been frustrated by a foot injury.

The Wales international spent over two months on the sidelines, before he returned to action earlier this month and has since started three consecutive games to highlight his importance to Silva's side.

Traore has been given an extra year even though he has been in and out of the side this season, demonstrated by the fact that he has started 16 of his 34 Premier League appearances, chipping in with two goals and six assists.

Meanwhile, Jimenez has ultimately earned his extension by producing his best goalscoring season in the Premier League since netting 17 goals in the 2019-20 campaign with Wolves.

The Mexico international has netted 11 goals in 36 top-flight appearances this season, including an effort in the recent 3-1 defeat to Everton.

Fulham, who occupy 11th spot in the standings, will be in action on Sunday when they make the short trip to the Gtech Community Stadium for a derby clash with Brentford.
