Juventus have reportedly identified Fulham midfielder Sander Berge as a potential transfer target.
The Bianconeri are looking to strengthen their midfield, with Douglas Luiz set to depart following a difficult season in Turin.
There is also uncertainty surrounding the long-term future of Weston McKennie, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract.
Juventus appear to view Sporting Lisbon's Morten Hjulmand as one of their top midfield targets, but they are also considering a number of alternative options.
Juventus targeting Fulham's Berge
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have earmarked Berge as a 'new name' in their search for midfield reinforcements.
While Berge may be on Juventus's radar, the report stops short of providing any further details of the level of the transfer interest.
Tottenham Hotspur's Yves Bissouma also features on Juventus' shortlist, but the fact that he would take up the second and final non-EU spot could prove to be a stumbling block.
The Italian giants are considering at least a couple of other names in Fenerbahce's Sofyan Amrabat and Benfica's Florentino Luis.
Would Fulham consider Berge sale?
Fulham boss Marco Silva can call upon Berge as one of his central midfield options, along with Sasa Lukic, Tom Cairney, Harrison Reed and Josh King.
The Norway international was a regular fixture in the Fulham side last season, starting 26 of his 31 Premier League appearances.
Fulham will ultimately be reluctant to part ways with a player who has established himself as a key member of Silva's squad.
They are certainly under no pressure to listen to offers, given the fact that Berge is under contract until at least the summer of 2029.
As a result, it is difficult to see a scenario where Berge leaves Craven Cottage this summer, unless the 27-year-old decides to push for a move away.
