Fulham reject Liverpool's Clint Dempsey bid

Fulham have reportedly rejected a bid from Liverpool for American international Clint Dempsey.

The 29-year-old is currently in exile, refusing to play for the Cottagers as he seeks a move to Anfield.

Dempsey, who scored 17 Premier League goals last term, rejected a move to Aston Villa because of his desire to link up with Brendan Rodgers.

The West London club are thought to be holding out for a fee in the region of £7m.

Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring the situation, according to Sky Sports News.
