Fulham are reportedly prepared to pay a club-record fee for Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Kevin.
Having made just one new addition this summer, Fulham will be keen to bring in a few new faces before the end of the transfer window.
The Cottagers are currently pursuing a deal for Kevin after identifying the Shakhtar winger as a viable transfer target.
Fulham are likely to view Kevin as a replacement for Willian, who left the club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of last season.
Kevin has scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists in 55 appearances since he joined Shakhtar from Palmeiras in January 2024.
Fulham eyeing club-record Kevin deal
According to Sky Sports News, Fulham are willing to pay a club record fee to sign the highly-rated Brazilian from Shakhtar.
Emile Smith Rowe is the club's current record transfer after Fulham splashed out £34m to sign him from Arsenal last summer.
However, a club-record fee may not be enough to prise Kevin away from the Ukrainian side.
Shakhtar are believed to be demanding more than three times €15m (£13m) that they paid to sign Kevin from Palmeiras.
Where would Kevin fit into Marco Silva's side?
Fulham boss Marco Silva can currently call upon Harry Wilson, Adama Traore and Alex Iwobi as his main wide options.
Kevin would surely come into being a first-choice option if he were to make the move to Craven Cottage.
The Shakhtar star may be a right-footed player, but he tends to operate on the left side of attack for his current employers.
As a result, he would likely line up on the left of Silva's preferred 4-2-3-1 if he joins the Cottagers before the transfer market shuts on September 1.
