Martin Jol calls for Bobby Zamora to score more goals.

Fulham boss Martin Jol has praised striker Bobby Zamora, but says that he needs to score more goals.

Zamora impressed Jol with his display during The Cottagers' 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Saturday, but Jol says that Zamora should be more like Aston Villa striker Darren Bent.

"Bobby is brilliant as a number nine," Jol said. "He is a specific type of player. He is target man.

"I spoke to Steve Bruce and he said if [ex-Sunderland striker] Bent had played in our game last week, he'd have scored and Sunderland would have got three points.

"That is probably true. Bobby is a different type. Bent will be anonymous but score 20 goals, not like Bobby or Andy Johnson.

"I hope he can be a bit more productive. You have to score more goals."

Fulham are currently 15th in the Premier League with 12 points from 13 games.
