Altman hopes for Fulham chance

Omri Altman has revealed that he hopes to break into the Fulham first team next season following his performances for Israel at the Under-21 European Championship.

The 19-year-old forward was given a two-year contract at Craven Cottage during the last campaign after impressing in the reserves.

"I don't know yet what's going to happen next year, but I hope the manager saw [me play] and I'll get the chance next season," Altman told Sky Sports News. "Fulham is my club, and I'll stay there a long time I think."

Hosts Israel were knocked out of the Under-21 European Championship on Tuesday night, despite a 1-0 win over England.
