Nikolay Mihaylov to join Hellas Verona

Bulgarian goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov has confirmed that he is close to joining Hellas Verona from Dutch outfit FC Twente.

The 25-year-old, who is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Italian outfit, has been capped 26 times by his country,

"I'm going to Milan, where I have to pass medicals and sign for Verona," he told reporters at a press conference.

Mihaylov joined Liverpool in 2007 and moved to Twente on a permanent contract in 2010.
