Everton open talks for Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson

Everton have made a £3m bid for Icelandic international Bjorn Bergamm Sigurdarson.

Everton have reportedly opened talks with Lillestrom over a £3m deal for Icelandic striker Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson.

The 21-year-old, who was also believed to be a target for Wolverhampton Wanderers, has hit 11 goals in as many games for the Norwegian side so far this season.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton are now favourites to land Sigurdarson, beating competition from Reading and Anderlecht.

Sigurdarson has one cap for his country.
