Everton in pole position for Moussa Marega?

Everton reportedly lead the race to sign Moussa Marega during the summer transfer window, with the Porto striker said to possess a release clause of £35m.

Everton have reportedly identified Porto forward Moussa Marega as a transfer target ahead of the summer window.

After failing to mount a challenge for the top six in the Premier League table this season, the Toffees are expected to make changes to their squad ahead of the new campaign.

According to A Bola, Everton want to strengthen their options in attack with the acquisition of Marega, who has scored 20 goals in just 24 league appearances this season.

The report claims that the 26-year-old has a release clause of £35m, but Everton are hopeful of being able to agree a cheaper deal for the Mali international.

West Ham United and Swansea City are also said to be interested in the player, but the Toffees are the favourites to conclude the transfer.
