Sylvain Distin has signed a one-year contract extension with Everton.
The 36-year-old defender's new terms at Goodison Park will expire in summer 2015.
The French centre-back was due to be a free agent at the end of the current season.
Distin joined Everton from Portsmouth in 2009.
