Team News: Jelavic handed first Everton start

Nikica Jelavic will make his first start for Everton during this evening's Premier League home fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.

Tim Cahill will offer support to Jelavic in an attacking midfield role, while Seamus Coleman starts the match on the wing.

Jermain Defoe has replaced Louis Saha in the Tottenham starting lineup, with the latter dropping to the bench.

Rafael van der Vaart has only been deemed fit enough to start on the bench.
