Denis Stracqualursi looking to copy the Carlos Tevez "model"

New Everton signing Denis Stracqualursi has set his sights on having a similar impact on the Premier League to that made by fellow Argentine Carlos Tevez.

The 23-year-old completed a season-long loan to Goodison Park on transfer deadline day from Argentinian Primera League side Tigres.

He was the joint top scorer in that division last year and has targeted scoring more goals during his spell on Merseyside.

"I saw the way [Tevez] went about the task at West Ham and the two Manchester clubs and I would like to think I can copy that model," he said.

"He is an icon at all those clubs. It is all about dying for the shirt, sweating for the club.

"I'll be trying to score as many goals as possible to help Everton."

Stracqualursi will wear the number 11 shirt.
